Support the NGO Cœur de Forêt today

Cœur de Forêt is the current recipient of the Arrondi round up at the register program at all Maisons du Monde stores!

From 16 May through 14 September, 100% of your micro-donations will be donated to the Association Cœur de Forêt for its project “Planting to protect endangered forests on Flores Island in Indonesia”.

 

Cœur de Forêt’s project aims to protect the forest of the Wolomezé Sacred Mountain and surrounding forest, via a reforestation program reintroducing Sandalwood and other endangered tree species.

3 reforestation campaigns will help plant 100,000 trees. Cœur de Forêt also supports the local populations to help them make a living from forest products like vanilla and patchouli, in a sustainable and responsible manner.

This project was selected during the 2017 Call for Projects of the Maisons du Monde Foundation, which will support the Association for three years.
